For our staff, you know,
there’s nothing more magical
when you really believe
in a job seeker
and you really wanna help them,and you do and you work together
and you get that job.
Within the office
we had desktop computers
and landline phones,and that really restricts you.If a job seeker wanted to be seen
in a private room,
you’d have to move from your desk
to the private room
and then log back on and then go
through the whole process again.

about the potential
of having everybody mobile.And he could immediately seehow that would change the way
in which the organisation works.

We’ve now moved to a solution
that gives enormous versatility
to how our people work
and how they serve our customers.JACKSON: When we have a new
staff member starting
they’re given their mobile phone,
they’re given their Ultrabook,
and that’s theirs.That’s theirs to use on personal use
and within work.
It’s a big leap into a totally
different way of working for us.
You know, we had to have confidence
in who we partnered with
and we had confidence in Telstra.When we looked at the cost
and then the package
that we actually came up with

it became a compelling…
a compelling situation.
With the Ultrabooks nowit just gives that flexibilityof being able to move.You would have seen in our office,they’re up and down,
they’re all over the place.

or in-work consultant
can go out to the workplace,she can take her Ultrabook with her,she can take her mobile phone
with her
and she’s not disconnected
from the office at all.
The acceptance and the take-up,the feedback we get from the staff
is just amazing.
So it has really sort of
kick-started
a whole new way of working
within Wise.
We have truly cut the copper
in virtually every location now.

wanted to in the community
and create the benefit
we want to create.
