How To SEDUCE Customers With Good Copy – Copywriting Tips

So, you’ve done the hard part. You’ve created
some great written content, and you’re driving traffic to your website. But there’s one problem,
– phone ain’t ringing! The strength of your written content, whether that’s blog posts,
your website or eBooks, is good copy. Copywriting helps drive traffic and generate leads. I’m
going to share with you some really simple tips that you can implement straight away,
that’s going to help you seduce your customers with great copywriting. Number one – create
compelling and attention-grabbing titles. Check out this video over here where I’ll
show you how to write attention-grabbing titles. Your title is the first point of contact between
you and your potential customers. So it has to be on point. Number two – make it all about
the customer. The biggest copywriting mistake that we see at Khemeia is that people always
make it about themselves. It’s not about you. It’s about your customers. This slight shift
in thinking will transform your copy writing. If you dedicate yourself to giving value to
your customers, that means solving their problems and needs, it means that you’re going to drive
more traffic and you’re going to generate more leads. Number three – include power words.
There are some words that engage your potential customers and there are some that just drive
them away. You want to make sure you use those power words. That’s words that your customers
love. That’s the ones that make them feel like, “Yeah, I want to click on this piece
of content!” or it makes them stay on that page. An example of this is a lot of companies
will use the word, “learn.” They’ll say, “learn how to do this,” or “you will learn.” But
the problem with the word ‘learn’ is, is that it can have a negative connotation with some
people. So it can drive people away. But if you make a small tweak and change it the word,
“discover” you’ll see that it inspires curiosity and it will help you drive traffic and it
will help increase your click rates. That’s an example of a power word. Finally keep it
short, simple and sweet. One of the biggest copywriting mistakes for online is that people
will just write loads and loads and loads. PEople don’t read online, they scan. People
don’t have time to be going and wading through massive pieces of content. So keep it short,
keep it simple and get to the point.
