Is it possible to make $1000 a day using only your smartphone Well, I’m gonna get real creative and you’re about to find out let’s go Welcome to the channel where I help you convert your ideas into cash You can get started by hitting try button smashing like button and ringing that bell to make sure you know when I upload this content All right, I’m gonna jump right in so the apps that you’re gonna need Now this isn’t like an exhaustive list of apps, but the apps you’re gonna need a Facebook Messenger the whatsapp Skype LinkedIn stuff you should already have Gmail magicJack or you know your regular phone and Socialblade now before I could just like jump all and dive all the way in this is not one of those get-rich-quick Apps or whatever. This is like a real business plan. I’m laying out here. I know it works I made almost a quarter of a million dollars doing this same exact thing last year So this is like tested and approved and it does work Also, you want to hang around all the way to the very end. I have a bonus to add on to this So make sure you watch this all the way through So before we go, like I said, I’m a head I had like deep dives There’s a couple of business opportunities that you could do with this the first one is like a joint venture and that’s like a marketing thing and that would be to Do a joint venture if you’re a copywriter Or if you have your own skill set that would mean that you could take your skill set to someone that doesn’t have it like an influencer help them to Leverage your skill set to make some cash and you guys could go on a joint venture Where you check about 30 percent and you wouldn’t involve anybody else with that? And you would just kind of do your thing or if you’re an already an influencer? Then you can cut these deals on your own and that’s what I did in the case of that You don’t have you’re not an influencer you don’t have a following and you’re not a brand this to be a marriage of influencers and Brands and what that means is that you’re gonna find the influencers yourself you’re gonna find the brands and you’re gonna put them together So if you had a guy that had a fishing channel on YouTube you would go out and find brands fishing brands or other outdoor equipment That he could promote to his channel. All right So let’s jump right into the first job that you’re gonna do and that’s gonna be to pick a niche You need to pick a niche and you need to stick to it. I’m in the beginning It’s gonna be natural for you to try to figure out how you can serve a bunch of people But I’m telling you now that it’s gonna be really important that you serve one person one type of niche So if you picked fishing it would be good to stick with fishing because as you serve the influencers as you serve the different brands you start to see Similarities in each deal and you start to see what the influencer is what makes them tick and you start to see the brands and what makes them tick and Then that makes it really easy to make your job done. The next thing is you want to find Micro influencers. I don’t want you going after people with a million subscribers Two million subscribers. I don’t even want you there and then you have like middle the lines influencers now where there’s 250,000 subscribers to half a million not even that I want you to find people last year. I did all of that I made a quarter million dollars with just less than five thousand subscribers So what you want to look for people with high engagement you want with people and you can do that by using Social blade you can go in there and find out exactly how much engagement they have you want look for for influencers anywhere from ten thousand to fifty to seventy-five thousand subscribers or followers or whatever those people have a really Good following the mistake that most people make if they want to work with one influencer with two million or ten million You know subscribers or followers it would be better for you to work with Twenty influencers with one brand with 10,000 or 50,000 really hyper subscribers and so the next thing you do is make a top dream 100 list of All the influencers that you want to work with now you’re gonna use your notes on your phone Or you can do a Google spreadsheet Whatever you do Google spreadsheet is in the Google app the Gmail app and you want to put a top list of 100 fluencies on there You’re gonna get their names their phone number and really important that you get that snail mail address Snail mail is gonna help you get in touch with them a lot faster than what most people will So if you’re able to shoot them a postcard really quickly and say hey, I’ve been trying to set up a call with you They’re gonna get that postcard faster than they will an email because everybody’s emailing them trying to get in there Trying to get into what they’re doing They’re trying to work with them and do something right there And then you want to get to make sure that you do get the email address for all of your dream 100 the next item Up for bid is your second job and that’s you’re just gonna be the same niche. What you want to do is look at what’s Adjacent to your niche, right? So I use phishing as an example because I’m a fisherman what is adjacent to fishing? Well, the boat is a part of that fishing line Hook sinkers fishing poles. That’s the obvious part But like one of the other ones is the glasses people wear sunglasses to cut the glare off the water There’s gloves. There’s waders. Then there’s actually nets and I’ll get to that in a minute I don’t want you to go after the top brands Yeah, once you go to startups Those are the best because those ones are super hungry and how you find those startups because you’re gonna have a list of like top brands I’ll give you an example is I had this floating fishing net that I purchased and I actually found it to an Influencer now watched his video. He’s a fly fisherman He had this floating net and the net that I had didn’t float, and I really wanted to check it out well When I contacted these people and told him that I was in Europe and asked him if they would like to break the European market They were really happy to do that and they were really happy to work with the influencers send out free nets or whatever and it was a really easy to deal to do because they were Startup now how you find these people is go out to look at your those super Influencers with 5 million subscribers to me and subscribers or whatever and see who they’re working with and you’ll start to see the top brands Then once you google those people and see what they sell like for instance Yeti coolers Find out who their competitors who’s the new Yeti cooler? Who’s the new people in the block making fishing reels and rods those type of things we want to find those people startups? it’s not really hard to do that but you do have to be nosy and make your dream 100 lists of Brands, so your next job is research and I want you to notice how I always include this Research is the most important part of any marketing any of these JV deals any business that you ever do research is the most important and so even if you think you know the niche like You know fishing I still want you to do a deep dive and do a serious deep dive on the influencers See what they’re all about. What are they doing? And what do and find out what they really want even if you talk to them and even if you made up a hypothetical? Environment for them to say hey, man, if you could work with the best brands, what would it be? What products would you want to represent? I mean then I want you to stock them and write notes and find out what they’re all about. Are they married? Do they have kids where do they live really? Research them and find out everything you possibly can about them watch all their first videos They first came out with their gonna tend to be a lot more open and honest about everything when they first started and Just watch their entire journey and really get to know everyone that’s gonna come in handy in the next slide so then now I want you to research the actual niche now and I want you to understand the lingo if you’re not a fisherman or even if you are Really do a deep dive now to give you an example in fishing. There’s different types of fishing So there’s gonna be fast fishing as a sport. Then there’s gonna be guys that actually eat their fish. There’s spin fishing There’s all kind of things right just fly fishing fly fishing with just pan fish I want you to find out that lingo and how you do that is go join the groups Go join the groups on Facebook go join message boards and Really talk and find out the whole lingo really do a deep Dive and I want you to find out research the market and find out what would be their dream like for instance Mine is a fishing pole. Right? What would be a dream fishing pole won’t be the best for you. What is their dream vacation? Will be their dream fishing vacation. What what boat would what fishing rod would include where would they go? Where would they go fishing right find out all of those? what is the best fishing destination find out everything that they would want and the reason why you’re doing that is because When you approach the brands, you want to have an idea and know okay, this is what these people want This is how I made all the money I made because I studied the people so closely That I understood everything they wanted so when I want you to brands so they could do I could do a deal for them I knew exactly what deal to present to my audience and they ate it up now I want you to research the brands and do a deep dive And you’re gonna do the same deep dive on the CMO and the CEO or the CEO Whoever you need to talk to you in order to do this deal But you’re gonna stalk them on social media and you’re gonna take notes on all of your dream 100s Now the reason why you’re doing that is because you want to do the same thing You do the influencers. You want to find out do they have family? What are some of their favorite pastimes? Where do they live? What’s the weather like where they live because this is all gonna pan out when you finally contact them in the next slide So here’s where we contact him you’re gonna send two to three meaningful emails and what I mean by that is you’re gonna do your research and contact them just like you would talk to your Aunt Sally or a Cousin or if you were reaching out to one person that you wanted to work with You don’t just reach out to somebody and blanket a templated email What you do is you you may say hey man, sunny. I saw you After such a such convention, we talked very very quickly or you could say I saw your your presentation I thought it was a really good presentation or you you tell them congratulations, which is the big one that I do Congratulations on the launch of your new product or congratulations on your new baby. I saw you had a new kid I follow you on social media. They will open up that email and they will talk to you because you put in those Personalizations and that’s really important. So stalking them on social media and finding out if you have something in common is really important So for in let’s just say for instance one of the influencers or let’s say one of the brand’s CEOs has a golden retriever and you have one too That’s a big thing the second people love their dogs and you can just go in there and just flat out say hey, man I see you’re a Golden Retriever owner. I have to myself you got some really nice-looking dogs. Would love to get to meet them I don’t live too far from you. You’re in New York. I’m right on such a such town We love to go I would love to go out and have a playdate with the dogs or something like that The reason why I’m contacting you is blah blah blah, right, so that’s the way you would do that I saw you at so-and-so convention to our I saw you at an event a lot of these people are gonna be going to Conventions and they’re gonna be going to events trade shows So you can easily say I saw you at the tradeshow because I’ll have pictures of them being at the tradeshow I saw you at the trade. So we talked very briefly about blob That’s how you’re gonna get your emails open, and I want you to send two to three Meaningful emails to the top dream one hundred to one or two of your dream 100 influencers and your dream 100 brands this right here works. I Listen, I’ve sent out one email and got a contract. You don’t have to send out a hundred emails Just use Gmail on your app, and I have some templates for you to get below So click below and get these code email templates, but I don’t want you to use them What I do want you to do is you’re gonna send three emails. The first one is the congratulations email on whatever Congratulations on your new product. Congratulations on your new launch. Congratulations on you start up your kid, whatever The second one is gonna be just a reminder and maybe some Some value, so hey man, I just wanted to I hadn’t heard from you I just wanted to bump this up in your list And also I know you’re into fishing or I’ve know your two golden retrievers or whatever the case may be about their brand even And I wanted to just send you this article on golden retrievers I want to see you article that I just read and I thought you would enjoy it on blah right and just send them a simple article with a little value and Just I just wanted to remind you that I wanted, you know plot to get to know your whatever to respond or whatever Just keep it really casual and be specific the next email You’ll send a few days later If you don’t get a reply and remind yourself, you just do reminders inside your Gmail You can have a reminder say if I hadn’t got a reply or to follow up. They have the new follow up feature So to follow up after X amount of days if I hadn’t got a reply So on the third email, it’s what I call the break-up email. Hey, listen, I tried to contact you a couple of times I know you’re busy. Do me a favor. Just say one I don’t want to hear from you anymore – I’ve been busy I do want to contact you and talk about it or three my dog ate the homework And I’m sorry I didn’t get your email and I do want to contact you. That’s the break-up email I get a lot of responses on that email. So you do want to send a breakup email Remember, you can click below and get those code email templates down below. That way you can see all three emails that’s all you’ll need to send is don’t through those three emails and you sin and a lot of times I don’t send more than within two I’ve sent the first email then I go back and I send it again and to have you know If you have a CRM at school, you don’t you don’t have to have one you can do this right through Gmail It works fine. As long as you’re not sending out a million emails. None of them will go through spam, right? That’s the ones that really important. That’s why you only want to send two or three meaningful emails those two or three will work I’m just reminding yourself. A lot of times. I’ll only send two emails that second email and they’ll say hey what’s going on, man? Sorry, I didn’t open the first one. I’m busy there’s little plugins that you can use inside your Gmail to find out if they open that email just Just search for it in the extension store and you’ll see that plug-in that you can put in Gmail that way You know when they opened the email so when they seen you back and say I hadn’t opened it, you know You’re they’re lying. Anyways, I see that I’ve seen it a million times, but just go do that So you’ll know when they opened the email and then we make just make sure you set your reminders to follow up on those emails After a few days send two or three a day, man, and it makes a difference. This is the sales process I wanted to talk to you about the sales process and in the bonus Make sure you stick around because in the bonus I have some things I want to add to this When you get an email just reply immediately get on the phone and get on skype as soon as possible So when they reply and say yeah, you know, I’d love to give you a chat or whatever What day is good for you? You could either say right now or tell hey I’d love to set it up on the you know a couple days away but get on skype are the messenger are their preferred Motive that’s why I gave you whatsapp. You can ask them as whatsapp Cool asked him to Skype cool, you know a lot of people have Skype But I wanted to have you every modality to talk to them a lot of times I want to give up the phone number, but they’ll get on skype really quickly And the first part you want to do is qualify them and that’s find out if they’ve done any marketing Whatsoever if they’re marketing for their brand, do they have a marketing budget even though you’re not gonna use that budget right now? You still want to find out they have a budget and if they believe in marketing at all And the next thing you want to do is to find out if they’ve worked with Influencers before or at least they believe in influencer marketing because that’s what you’re doing And if they don’t believe in influencer marketing and they’ve never marketed before I would highly suggest you pass up on the deal Because you don’t want to educate people as you go along you want people that? Know the value of what you’re doing and they’re interested in what you’re talking about the next thing is if you want to find out if they can pull the trigger if they’re the ones that make the decision if Yes Then you can close the deal if they’re not the person that Can close the deal if they’re not the person they talk about them to running up the old flagpole? I would highly suggest you just move on and follow up them with them at a later date till you can talk to the deal The deal makers if you can’t find the decision-makers Then there’s no need of just wasting your breath talking to somebody they can’t pull the trigger Wait till you get everybody that can pull the tree There’s nothing worse than getting on a call and finding out why I need to talk to my partners I can’t stand that make sure that they’re the person that can close the deal and you ask them Are you the person that can make the decision make the ask that question? Alright, so if they don’t close write it on the phone Right, then you want to schedule a second call within the same week when you do call them But you want to try to close on that call. The number one caveat I can give you here is do not sound desperate Desperation you could smell it a million miles away and people run from it. Don’t sound desperate I know it’s hard to do especially when you’re first getting your first deal It’s really hard to do, but I promise you you’ll thank me for it. Later Make sure you just be firm because remember what you’re offering them and how you’re offering this deal is beneficial for both of you They’re a start-up and they need as much exposure as they can get So don’t act like you that they’re doing you a favor. Remember you’re doing them the favor Okay so in the pitch Here’s the thing that I want you to understand four people have to win in order for this deal to work So influencers have to win so when you’re pitching the Influencers their audience has to win and they have to win they want to have something they can give to their audience and they want something for themselves Usually it’s a percentage of the sale and probably a free product of some sort If they’re a fisherman you can say listen, we’ll get you a free fishing pole We’ll get you a rod and reel setup and it will give you one to give away to your audience and we’re also giving your audience a 50% discount During the time at this deal last so they have to win and their audience has to win you have to give their audience something And the brand has to win in other words They need to get a big percentage off of what the influencers is doing in other words the influencer You can’t say I want 80% of the sale because that’s just crazy, right? So the brand needs to win so you can’t just keep doing take a big chunk out of them My big suggestion is to say take 40 percent, which is pretty fair You split 20% down the middle with the influencer in that way you guys go 5050 and that’s yourself The number four is you have to win don’t make a deal where you’re not making making 20% 30% on the deal man I’ve done deals where I only made 20% was totally pissed off about it. My line was if I’m not taking 30% home I don’t want to do the deal and so that’s the deal that I think that you should do And that’s your pitch make it so the influencer winds the influence Our audience wins the brand wins and you win and that should your pitch you can put it together However, you want to put it together. There’s no special way to do it. You just let the people know what you do I put on Mary brands and influencers I’ve got influencers in your niche all over the world and I’d like to get started here in the United States of America now most of my Influencers want Bly and I want to get this for the audience. Is it possible for Bly? Have you done this before and that’s it. You just ask them questions. Well, no, that sounds good. What are you accustomed to? What are you into the product for what? Can you stand do a sale of this product? That’s just how you do it and if for myself okay, here’s the deal. This is what I’m gonna do I usually charge 30% This is performance based if I don’t sell I don’t make any money I charge 30% I give my influence or 10% or I charged 40% I give the influence of 20 I take 20. However, you want to work it out The influencer is at least gonna want 20% So you have to cut your proper deal You can make a 50% deal but the brand is not gonna be happy that way what I noticed is 40 percent is acceptable Totally acceptable. So that’s how you cut your deal in your bonus. I wanted to give you some caveats with the sales process two people can work the sales process and this is where I really Excelled I had sales development Representatives and what they would do is they would do the qualifications and then they would do a handoff They would contact all of the startups on the messenger on Facebook. They would find them on Facebook Contacted my messenger set up a deal on a messenger and say hey listen Why don’t we get on the phone and where I can introduce you to the CEO of this influencer marketing company? Which was me and they would do a live Handoff on skype our on the messenger and they would say Sonny. This is so-and-so so-and-so This is Sonny you guys talk and he would do like a three-way. So we would start chatting I go Hey, man, why don’t we just jump on the horn so we can talk and alive? Handoff works the best so if you have somebody working with you You’ll get ton of people that are willing to work with you for Commission. Only basis That’s not hard to find Finding that sales development rep and having them actually make the appointment for you their appointment centers doing that handoff works Wonders, the next thing is beef up your LinkedIn profile. You can go look at my LinkedIn profile The link is down below and look at it and just take everything that I’ve done How I added in what I like to do my favorite music and all those things what I’ve done and make yourself look Interesting people want to do business with interesting people beef up your LinkedIn profile get reviews on angel info LinkedIn and Facebook Make sure that when somebody Google’s you that those 3 stars or four-star reviews or whatever. You have those pop up though Those reviews will pop up first on your company. So they’ll see that you actually exist add in people that work for you maybe it could be VA s that worked for you make those people employees where you have six or seven ploy e’s and if you’re working alone Make sure you make clone a few emails people want to do business with a big business if you have a person that could beat You hey, I’m the secretary. Hey, this is Sonny secretary I just want to make sure that you got all your Documents set up and you guys have an appointment for such-and-such time. They want to have dealing with someone else These are all things to give the appearance that you’re a big business until you can actually do it People want to do they want to work with a big established company.
