Call Of Duty Players Try Military Combat Gear

– [Voiceover] Three, two, one… Go, go, go! (screaming) – [Voiceover] Low crawl, low crawl! Down, down, down! – Oh my God! – [Voiceover] Tell my
wife I love her, Jared. – My skill level in “Call of Duty” you know, high intermediate. – I’ve put some numbers on the board. – I’ve worked my skill level up to take on an MOT Pro, so… You best be ready. – Oh, me! What I like about the game is, it’s so immersive and
it feels so realistic that you just get this adrenaline rush when you play it. – [Voiceover] Hey guys, – Oh! – [Voiceover] How would you like to test your skills, wearing the real stuff? – Yes. – This is kinda cool. – I’m Chase Millsap. I’m a ten year veteran of the United States Military. I did my first five years as a Marine in the infantry. And then went over to the U.S. Army Special Forces, The Green Barets. I have three combat deployments to Iraq and one to Southwest Asia. – Alright fellas, this is for you. – Okay. – This is for you. – Oh man. – This will save your life. – Ballistic plates both on the front and on the back, as well as the sides. – No! Man that is heavy! – Yeah, so is… – Did you hear that sound that just made? – This’ll stop, normally
like an AK-47 bullet. – Boom! All done! – But you’re gonna feel it. It’ll knock you down and bruise you up a little bit, but
it’ll save your life. – I don’t wanna be a solider anymore! – C’mon man, get it together! – This whole thing weighs, now about 25 pounds. It’ll be upwards of 40-60 pounds once you start adding all the extra equipment in here. – This is lighter? Oh my God, how are these yours? Do I look like Emily Blunt? – Yes. – Yes! “Edge of Tomorrow.” – Yeah, I’m Tom Cruise. – Jared, you ready to do this? – I was born ready for this. (grunts) (electro rock music) – Feels a little weird. A little wrong. Like I’m undeserving of this uniform. – Alright, so you guys have signed up you’ve signed the dotted line. Simulated rescue mission. You wanna get through the obstacles, get the wounded casualty out, as fast as possible. – Classic “Call of Duty” plot. – Who are we saving? – It’ll be your buddies. So when you’re going in, you’ll be the casualty, and vice-versa. – I’m ready. – Let’s do it. – Sir, yes Sir. – You know what you’re gonna do? – I gotta save my friend. – 3, 2, 1. Go, go, go! – Oh my God, my ammo’s so heavy. – [Voiceover] Keep low,
keep low, keep low! – [Voiceover] Low crawl, low crawl. Down, down, down! – I’m coming Ned. I’m coming. I’m stuck. – [Chase] Find a way, or make one. – [Jamie] I’m coming, Katie! I’m coming. – [Katie] Jamie, help! – [Jamie] Ah, shi… – [Chase] There you go. There you go. – Determination. – Get off of me! Leave me alone! [Chase] Final stretch. – Oh God. – [Chase] It’s on it’s way, we gotta get him out. Let’s go, let’s go, let’s go! – Okay. Oh God! – [Chase] Final push. Let’s go, let’s go! Get him over that shoulder. – Okay, I have to drag you. I’m sorry. Oh God. Ow, my neck. (bleep) – Are we in heaven yet? – You know what, leave the guns. We probably got more guns in the copter. – Okay, ready? Here we go. – [Ned] I believe in you, Jared. – That makes one of us, Ned. I can’t do this. – Yes. – No, I can’t. – Help. – Oh God. What? I’m sorry, Ned. (sad dramatic music) – [Chase] Get back into it. – Jared. – Yeah? – Don’t do it for me, do it for you. – [Chase] No long left. – I need to save you. I work with you. You won’t like me very much, if I let you die. I’m just really trying
not to throw up right now. (grunting) – You want me to carry you? – Yeah, if you could
carry me that be good. – This is, the most difficult thing I’ve ever done, in my entire life. I’m trying. – [Chase] Final stretch. – Oh my God, the helicopter. – We lost the gun. It’s around. – How in the world – did you do this? – [Chase] Good. Alright, you made it. – Oh never again. – Both of you made it. You’re alive. Nice job. So, you guys learned the most valuable lesson today: That you don’t quite, ever. – I didn’t give any thought, about this when i play this game. – Playing the game is easy. Playing the game is a game. – And the fact that people do that as their job, and for us? crazy. – All the military out there, hardcore. – Have to give major props to all the men and women out there, who do this for real. – You gave us the freedom to frag ‘nubes all day. – Military always works in terms of mission success or failure. They were a success. They got through the obstacle course, they made it through all the different things that they had to go through, and they got out together. Things I would wanna work on, maybe for next time, you gotta hold onto your gun. The only thing you’ve got as security, not only for yourself but for your buddy. You can’t leave your gun out there. So, do you think this would have earned you a medal on Call of Duty? – Oh, heck yes. We got achievement points
out the ass for this.
